EVENTS & PROMOTION EXECUTIVE – RADIO SUN FM & GOLD FM

Planning, coordinating, and executing promotional campaigns and live events to increase a station’s visibility. They collaborate with programming, sales, and on-air staff to secure sponsorships, organize listener contests, and manage audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Management: Plan and execute Below-the-Line (BTL) and Above-the-Line (ATL) promotional campaigns to media station listenership and brand visibility.
• Event & Concert Planning: Organize large-scale live concerts, outdoor parties, and listener-driven activations.
• Digital & Social Integration: Manage the station’s digital presence, ensuring contests, promos, and campaigns engage core audiences across online and social media platforms.
• Sponsorships & Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to secure event sponsorships and create appealing advertising packages for corporate clients.
• Budget Administration: Track promotion expenses and ensure effective utilization of the promotional budget.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Communications, Mass Media, or related field is a distinguished advantage.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in communication, branding, or media event management.
• English and Sinhala, with Tamil language skills being a distinct advantage.
• Deep understanding of the Sri Lankan radio landscape, youth/lifestyle trends, and local digital marketing platforms.
• Age between 30 – 45 years.
