SLTMOBITEL PEOTV operates the Pay TV and Content Business for the SLT Group. SLTMOBITEL PEOTV has been at the forefront of IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) services, introducing innovative and interactive television applications to Sri Lanka, since its inception.
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a proven ability to deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, detail-oriented, and capable of transforming raw footage into engaging visual content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative visual concepts aligned with project requirements and production vision
- Review scripts and raw footage to plan and prioritize shots for continuity and storytelling
- Edit and assemble footage using modern techniques to create a cohesive narrative
- Incorporate audio, graphics, and special effects to enhance overall production quality
- Deliver a polished final cut that meets broadcast standards
The ideal candidate should possess:
- NVQ Level 3 or a professional qualification equivalent in video editing from a recognized institution
- a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role at a reputable establishment
- strong understanding of video editing
- proficiency in television broadcast graphics designing for HD/SD offline workflows (experience with live workflows will be an advantage)
- working knowledge of video and audio file formats, properties, and codecs
- proficiency in the following application packages:
- Adobe Premiere
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- good typing skills in English and Sinhala languages
