We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier – Head Office to handle daily cash transactions, ensure accurate reconciliation, and maintain compliance
with company procedures in a fast-paced environment.
CASHIER – HEAD OFFICE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process daily cash, cheque, and transactions accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain proper cash balances and ensure timely reconciliation of cash collections and system records.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly cash reports and supporting documentation to Finance.
- Coordinate with Sporting Star centers and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies or queries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, cash handling policies, and audit requirements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Candidates should be between 30-50 years of age and reside in or around the Bambalapitiya area.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis.
- G.C.E. A/L qualification; part qualification in Accounting/Finance will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a cashiering, finance, or accounts-related role.
- Good numerical accuracy and working knowledge of MS Excel or accounting systems.
- Strong integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle cash responsibly.
