MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER
COMPLIANCE
THE JOB
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements within the legal framework of the country, including directions and regulations issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and other regulatory bodies and developing, overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
- Revising compliance policies, procedures, and reports time to time
THE PERSON
- Over 10 years’ experience in Banking/Finance field of which over 05 years should be in the managerial capacity in the field of Compliance, Finance or Audit in a reputed Bank or a Financial Institution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Banking/Finance/LLB together with a professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Banking or Marketing from a recognized academic or professional institution
- Excellent skills in strategic thinking, analysis, forecasting, good interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills
- Competence in the sphere of compliance management with regard to Finance Business environment in the country
- Good knowledge on the all aspects of legal and compliance of the Finance Industry and all current and potential products of the company
- Knowledge of the goAML system & Finnet reports with the ability to prepare reports
- Sound knowledge of the directions, rules, circulars issued by the DSNBFI
- Provide reports on a regular basis to senior management to keep them updated on progress of compliance operations
