Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statistics for treaty programme renewal and assisting for the renewal process.
- Arranging Facultative reinsurance facilities/Co insurance arrangements when the need arise. In comply with the service standards.
- Claim Recovery of dues from Re insurers and co insurers h. Maintenance of files/records.
- Assisting for preparing monthly reinsurance entries in comply with the service standards.
- Prepare information/statistics.
- Preparing information for Monthly departmental KPI review.
- Coordination with NITF in relation to compulsory cession and SRCC & T fund.
- Prepare monthly declaration of RI premium and claims.
- Prepare Statements of Accounts quarterly.
- Creating report of information to IBSL on reinsurance placement (As per the IBSL guide lines)
- Maintaining good Interpersonal and Inter organizational relationships with re insurers, brokers and co insurers.
Applicants should possess the following:
- Degree in Business Management of Finance from Recognized University or Diploma from Sri Lanka Insurance Institute /Certificate from Chartered Insurance Institute (Cert,CII)
- Minimum 04 years’ work experience in role in insurance, industry
- Math aptitude and computer aptitude
- Knowledge in reinsurance technical accounting
- Strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills matched with teamwork skills.
