Storekeeper

SLP Group is an international conglomerate operating in Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Singapore, Seychelles, and Mauritius. We specialize in delivering innovative, high-quality MEP solutions across sectors including hospitality, education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial. The MEP Store Assistant supports store operations for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials. The role includes receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of MEP materials while ensuring proper inventory control and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and verifying MEP materials delivered to the store.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requisitions.
• Assist in conducting periodic stock checks and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper handling and safe storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Support the storekeeper in maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Keep the store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Fully or partially qualified in a relevant field
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a relevant field
• Knowledge of systems, QB, and SAP would be an advantage
• Computer literacy is essential
• Experience in the construction field is required
• Exposure to overseas projects would be an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
