Junior Planning & Coordinating Engineer – MEP

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Planning & Coordinating Engineer to support our project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, work plans, and progress trackers for MEP projects.

·         Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

·         Monitor project progress against planned schedules and highlight delays or potential issues to the relevant project team related to procurement, finance, or authorization

·         Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly procurement and payment summary reports.

·         Assist in tracking project milestones, material requirements, manpower deployment, and site activities.

·         Follow up on material deliveries, shop drawings, technical submissions, approvals, and other project-related requirements.

·         Maintain proper records of project schedules, progress updates of the procurements, coordination matters, and related documentation.

·         Assist in identifying project risks, delays, and resource requirements and escalate them to the relevant management.

·         Participate in project coordination meetings and prepare follow-up action points when required.

·         Support the preparation of look-ahead plans and recovery plans for delayed activities against the procurement.

·         Coordinate with procurement and stores teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.

·         Perform any other planning and coordination duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Planning Engineer. 

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or MEP Engineering.

·         0–1 years of experience in MEP planning, project coordination, or construction is preferred.

·         Fresh graduates with a strong interest in MEP project planning and coordination are encouraged to apply.

·         Basic understanding of MEP systems and construction/project execution processes.

·         Knowledge of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software will be an advantage.

·         Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

·         Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and technical documents.

·         Strong coordination, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

·         Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

·         Willingness to work at project sites and travel when required.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously.
