ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – PILIYANDALA
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management accounting process and prepare invoices and debit notes.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, pass journal entries and maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Manage petty cash, process payments, prepare payment vouchers and maintain proper document filing.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting.
Requirements
- Passed the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination, preferably in the Commerce stream.
- Part-professional qualifications from a recognized institution such as AAT, ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience in the finance or accounting field.
- Experience with computerized accounting packages will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
