VACANCIES

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following post in the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.

(1) NURSE GRADE III

Qualifications:

1. G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in six (06) subjects at not more than two sittings with credit passes in three (03) subjects.
2. Certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.

Salary Scale:

U-MT 1 – 2025

Rs. 51,095 – 7×540; 11×640; 10×890; 13×1,190 -86,285 p.m. (Salary will be paid as per the guidelines set out in Management Services Circular No.  06/2025 and University Grants Commission Circular No. 02/2025(i).)

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years as at the closing date of applications.
Method of Recruitment: Selection by interview.

Benefits

Appointees will become contributors to the Universities Provident Fund contributing 10% of their earnings and the University contributing an amount equivalent to 7% of their monthly earnings. In addition, they will become contributors to the Employees’ Trust Fund and the University Pension Scheme under which the University will contribute an amount equivalent to 3% and 8% of the monthly earnings of the employee respectively.
