Key responsibilities:

• Conduct regular physical inspections to ensure smooth and uninterrupted water supply to all buildings, aircraft, gardens, and service facilities.
• Perform water treatment processes in accordance with established specifications and guidelines to meet required treated water standards.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all water treatment plants and pumps to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate log reports and follow up on tasks under the instructions of the Foreman to ensure timely rectification of defects.
• Monitor the conventional water treatment process to ensure the supply of quality water, including performing basic tests for physical parameters such as turbidity and pH correction.
• Act on behalf of the Foreman in his absence and provide necessary technical guidance and information to subordinates.

Requirements

• 6 passes at GCE (O/L) including a pass for Maths & English with successful completion of one year full time technical course (NVQ level 4) in relevant field (Plumbing) with 4 years relevant working experience.

• Be a Sri Lankan Citizen.
