Qualifications:
- Pass the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects in no more than two sittings.
AND - Should have completed the Nursing Assistant Course (NVQ Level – 03 or 04) Conducted by the National Apprentices and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).
OR - Should have completed a Nursing Assistant Course conducted by a registered Institution with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
OR - Should have completed a Nursing Assistant Course conducted by a Nursing Training Institutions which are registered under the Sri Lanka Private Medical Regulatory Council.
AND - Minimum of six (06) months of working experience in healthcare sector.
Additional Qualifications:
- Pass the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in Mathematics, Science and English Language with credit passes.
- Experience in patient care and laboratory services in the healthcare sector is considered a special qualification.
- Knowledge in IT and Computer Literacy.
