Established by Act of Parliament in 1981, it is dedicated to propagating Buddhism, developing the Pali language, and providing education for both monastic (Bhikkhu/Bhikkhuni) and lay students from Sri Lanka and abroad.

SUB WARDEN (Full Time) (GRADE II)- (Buddhist Monks and Male Candidates Only)
Qualifications :
- A graduate of a recognized University. Preference will be given to those with experience in administration and management of Hostels.
Age : Should be not more than 45 years of age at the closing date of applications.
Selection Criteria : Selection by Interview.
Salary Scale : UMN 3(II), – Rs. 71,365-18×1190 – 92,785 (p.m.) In addition, the Government approved allowances applicable to the University System will be paid
