INTERNSHIP – SALES INTERN
Lanka IOC PLC stands as a pillar of Sri Lanka’s energy landscapŠµ, serving as a vital link in the nation’s growth and industrial evolution.
WHAT YOU’LL Do
- Support the Sales team in achieving targets and maintaining customer relationships
- Assist in preparing Proforma Invoices, sales quotations and related sales documentation
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and other management reports
- Coordinate with customers, sales representatives and field staff to ensure smooth order processing and service delivery
- Follow up on customer orders and support in addressing customer inquiries and operational requirements
- Assist in monitoring sales orders, deliveries and related documentation
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales Department
- Perform any other duties and assignments entrusted by the Senior Manager – Sales and SVP (RS & HR)
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline, or a Diploma/ equivalent qualification from a reputed university or institute
- Preferably below 25 years of age
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
- Good MS Office and computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team in a fast-paced and professional environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
