- G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination with 06 subjects with 03 credit passes
- Completed or half-way through a certificate course in Bookbinding from the Sri Lanka Printing Institute or any other government recognized institution is an additional qualification.
- Ability to work on shift basis (day/night)
