Company Overview: We are a leading accounting firm based in the United States, providing comprehensive financial services to clients across various industries. This isan excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic, growth-oriented company. We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and energetic Management Accountant for our UK client.
Qualifications
- Part or fully Qualified of CA, CIMA or ACCA
- Degree in finance from a recognized university will be an added advantage
Requirements
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics beneficial but not essential
- Minimum 3 years of experience of handling sales, purchase and cash book ledgers.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in balance sheet reconciliations.
- Highly numerate + analytical, with good attention to detail
- Deadline orientated
- Strong understanding of accounting principles &analytical skills
- Ambitious and keen to make an impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced Knowledge in excel and word.
- Able to work UK hours (1:00p.m to 9:30p.m), NO remote option
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Preparation and production of management accounts for various entities on a monthly basis
- Posting of journals and full balance sheet reconciliations with associated schedules
- Sales invoicing and revenue recognition sub ledger reconciliations.
- Investigation of old balances and backdated reconciliations where required
- Managing fixed asset register
- Reviewing sales and purchase ledgers for accuracy
- Review payment batch Request & related updates.
- Involvement in the production of the annual budgeting and ad-hoc forecasting
