What you need to do
- Conduct and deliver engaging health and safety training sessions to outlet staff through pre-organized programs, ensuring timely and effective coverage of all key focus areas.
- Ensure training content is communicated to all outlet staff in a practical and relatable manner, using demonstrations, discussions, and participatory methods to maximize understanding.
- Conduct regular outlet visits to assess adherence to health and safety processes and identify gaps, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance with established safety standards.
- Establish and strengthen a feedback loop to evaluate the effectiveness of process implementation and support continuous improvement across outlets.
- Ensure all participating outlet staff are equipped to identify, prevent, and respond to incidents that may occur within an outlet, with sufficient knowledge of the immediate actions to be taken.
- Report key observations and trends to management to support decision-making and improvement initiatives.
What you need
- Good understanding of health and safety practices in retail operations, with knowledge of Keells outlet operations being an added advantage.
- Computer literacy with the ability to prepare reports and training-related documentation.
- Ability to train a diverse group of participants, adjusting the approach across different experience levels and learning paces.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver content effectively using plain language while maintaining participant engagement.
