Graduate Trainee – Group Risk & Control supports the function’s digital audit strategy by assisting in risk-based internal audits-spanning integrated process, financial, and operational areas-while contributing to data-driven continuous monitoring and control strengthening under close supervision. The role collaborates with data analysts and business units to perform end-to-end risk assessments, prepare working papers and draft observations, and help embed self-governance practices, building capability in audit automation, analytics, and Al tools along the way.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing planned audits and special assignments, including basic support for investigations requested by business units
- Support end-to-end, data-driven risk assessments by helping collect information, perform preliminary analytics, and identify potential control gaps
- Assist in developing digital monitoring solutions by preparing datasets, updating dashboards, and supporting analytics-enabled self-governance initiatives that strengthen first-line control ownership
- Contribute to communicating audit observations by drafting summaries, preparing meeting materials, and supporting follow-up actions with business unit teams
- Work collaboratively with the analytics team to help advance audit automation and data-driven testing through learning, data preparation, and simple analytics tasks
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in commerce/ financial/ business management
- Partly qualified in Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing/Apparel company handling Internal audit of manufacturing plants and Process Audits
