Sinhala/English Typist – Legal Department
We are a dynamic and fast-growing finance company, a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to individuals and businesses. Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Legal Department as a Junior Executive – Legal.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and type legal documents and court-related documents.
- Assist with filing legal documents and following up on court proceedings.
- Maintain accurate records of allocated civil and criminal cases.
- Coordinate with Legal Officers and relevant courts regarding case-related documentation and updates.
- Provide administrative support as required.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Excellent typing skills in English and Sinhala.
- Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.
- A qualification in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a legal office, law firm, or court-related environment preferred.
- Sound knowledge of legal documentation and court procedures.
- Strong organisational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
