Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Ownership: Design, develop, and maintain the frontend application layer, backend services, and APIs, while managing database updates and modifications within the Biller platform.
- Modern UI Development: Drive the design of high-performance, modern user interfaces rooted in consumer design principles for our next-generation platform.
- Code Excellence: Produce high-quality, stable, and secure code by strictly adhering to software engineering best practices.
- System Optimization: Implement improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes based on insights from project managers, QA engineers, business users, and system auditors.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and foster a culture of agile development and continuous enhancement.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
- Frontend Expertise: Proficient in React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, Material-UI (MUI), Bootstrap, Storybook, and JSP.
- Backend & Database Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Java EE, JPA (Java Persistence API), Node.js, and TypeScript. Experienced with Oracle and DB2 databases.
- Integration & DevOps: Knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs, alongside DevOps practices and tools including GitHub, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Methodologies & Soft Skills: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, paired with exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Other Competencies
- Proficient with collaboration and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong documentation skills for capturing processes, system architecture, and design decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to understanding user needs and delivering user-centric solutions.
- Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration.
