Pawning Associate (Fixed Term Contract)

To support branch operations by efficiently managing pawning transactions in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring excellent customer service and proper safeguarding of pledged items.
JOB PROFILE
- Conduct pawning transactions, including acceptance, valuation, and release of pledged items.
- Accurately input transaction details into the system to maintain reliable records.
- Ensure secure documentation and safekeeping of pawned items according to internal guidelines.
- Manage new facilities, renewals, redemptions, and part payments efficiently.
- Deliver professional and courteous service while addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain records and generate reports for audit and monitoring purposes.
- Adhere to compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Drive promotion of pawning products within the bank to achieve the branch’s pawning budget.
APPLICANT’S PROFILE
- Age should be below 35 Years.
- Passed G.C.E (O/L) with credit passes for Mathematics & English.
- 2+ years of experience in pawning services and gold assessment.
- Banking or financial services experience as an added advantage.
- Customer service excellence and interpersonal communication.
- High integrity and professionalism in financial transactions.
- Negotiation and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
