ASSISTANT MANAGER – FX & MM TRADING
The Job Holder is responsible for assisting & implementing FX Trading, Sales & Money Market trading plan in line with the overall business objectives of Treasury & the Bank’s strategic objectives.
THE JОВ
- Actively participate in achieving budgeted overall FX revenue Both Trading & Sales
- Actively participate & achieve budgeted ALM revenues
- Assist in all money market related activities & manage Central Bank/Nostro accounts
- Assist other Business Units/ external customers with Professional advice on rate movements & market developments
- Responsible for coordinating with IT department for all Core Banking & other IT related activities
- Closely track all relevant macro-data, market outlook relating to forex, money-market, fixed-income, and such others that would help in decision-making for the Treasury & the Bank as a whole
- Responsible for BCP function for Treasury
THE PERSON
- Possess full/ part qualification in ACI or CBSL Treasury Operations
- Should have at least 03-05 years’ experience and exposure to allaspects of Treasury
- Background knowledge in forex trading, debt trading, derivatives & money market
- Knowledge in Risk Management & knowledge on internal & regulatory policies
- Possess Time Management and Customer service skills & Decision-making skills
- Should have negotiation skills & be proactive
