INVESTMENT ANALYST
JOB PROFILE
- Analytical Support: Assist in the analysis, review and valuation of companies and securities to support investment decisions.
- Research Assistance: Conduct primary equity and macroeconomic research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling: Support the development and maintenance of valuation models and research databases using local and global data inputs.
- Trading Execution: Contribute to the overall equity investment operation by assisting in the execution of equity trades.
- Operational Reporting: Handle the accounting, performance reporting and daily operational requirements of the proprietary
portfolios. - Market Monitoring: Maintain a continuous watch on industry trends and relationships within the financial services sector.
APPLICANT’S PROFILE
- Age below 35 years.
- Agraduate in Finance, Portfolio Management, Accountancy or Economics with a first or second class.
- An associate member of CIMA or ACCA or have successfully completed at least Level I or Il of the CFA program.
- Preferably one (01) to two (02) years of experience in financial analysis, research or a similar analytical role.
- Completion of Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF) or related qualification.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret financial statements.
