EXECUTIVE/TEAM LEADER – PAWNING PRODUCT GOVERNANCE
To oversee and manage the operations of the pawning product and conduct branch inspections, ensuring efficient process execution, adherence to policies, and the maintenance of high standards of service, security, and operational integrity across branches and the department.
THE JOB
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the branch inspection team to ensure high levels of performance, engagement, and adherence to inspection standards.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive inspection schedule across all assigned branches, ensuring timely and thorough evaluations.
- Conduct detailed inspections of branches focusing on operational procedures, security protocols, compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and safeguarding of assets.
- Track branches and team performance metrics, inspection outcomes, branch operations and follow-up actions.
- Champion a culture of integrity, security, and operational excellence within the branch network.
- Provide training to inspection team members and branch staff on inspection techniques, branch pawning operation, regulatory updates, and security protocols.
- Identify operational, security, and compliance risks during inspections and document findings meticulously.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain zero-tolerance on breaches in respect of all current and upcoming regulatory requirements pertaining to pawning/gold loans.
THE PERSON
- Possess a Bachelor degree, Banking or equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the pawning industry, including at least 4 years in the banking sector with inspection or audit experience.
- Possess excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Possess good communication and presentation skills.
