Senior Banking Assistant – Retail Credit
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scrutinize credit card applications and ensure the completeness of documentation
- Carryout independent credit evaluations of existing and prospective borrowers including financial, operating and risk analysis on Credit card facilities
- Ensure all credit proposals are in line with the credit policy of the bank and within relevant product guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines issued by the Bank
- Oversee the verification team ensuring that the targets are achieved
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3-4 years of banking experience of which two years should be in a credit role
- Full or Part qualification in Banking or Credit Management would be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical skills including the ability to understand and interpret financial statements
- Should be able to perform independently with minimum supervision to meet strict deadlines
