SLP Group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Site Engineer – Electrical to oversee and drive the successful execution of electrical installation works on our upcoming projects. Key Role Overview
As our Site Engineer – Electrical, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring all electrical works on-site are carried out seamlessly, safely, and in strict compliance with approved designs, international standards, and project deadlines.
What You Will Do
- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day electrical installation works and monitor subcontractor performance and labor productivity.
- Technical Execution: Ensure all works align with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (IEC, IEEE).
- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Work closely with other MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems).
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and final system commissioning.
- HSE Compliance: Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the site.
- Documentation: Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records, and manage QA/QC documentation through to project handover.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (relevant technical certifications are a plus).
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of solid experience in Electrical Site Engineering within MEP/building services projects.
- Project Exposure: Prior experience in infrastructure, resort, hotel, high-rise, or commercial developments. (Experience in island-based projects such as the Maldives or Seychelles is highly preferred!)
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems (power distribution, lighting, earthing) and ELV systems (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, data).
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and using AutoCAD/Revit for coordination.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capability to manage multicultural teams and operate independently in remote or challenging environments.
