Key Responsibilities
- Design & Drafting: Develop design concepts and prepare comprehensive design, tender, construction, and as-built drawings.
- CAD & Modeling: Generate accurate CAD models using AutoCAD, ZWCAD, and REVIT software.
- HVAC & MEP Systems: Design and draft complete HVAC works (including air distribution calculations, duct sizing and layouts, refrigerant and chilled water piping, and diffuser/grill sizing) alongside plumbing, drainage, and firefighting layouts and composite shop drawings.
- Site Support: Conduct site surveys, prepare as-built drawings, and handle quantity take-offs.
- Collaboration: Liaise with clients, architects, designers, consultants, and project managers to discuss design ideas, secure approvals, and provide technical assistance.
- Standards & Aesthetics: Ensure all product and system designs meet required safety and technical standards while blending technique with aesthetics.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Higher Diploma in a relevant engineering or technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience in MEP draughting and design.
- Software Proficiency:
- Mandatory proficiency in Revit software.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, ZWCAD, and AutoCAD Scripts.
- Computer Skills: Strong general IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Location: Must be willing to work at our project site in the Maldives.
