SLP Engineering Lanka (Pvt) Ltd (part of the SLP Group) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Site Storekeeper (Male) to manage site inventory, materials, and documentation. The role requires ensuring accurate stock control, proper material preservation, and seamless coordination with main stores and site operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Inventory & Material Management:
  • Responsible for the physical receiving and issuing of materials and tools.
  • Verify the correctness of quality, quantity, specifications, and condition of all materials received into the stores.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:
  • Handle GRNs (Goods Received Notes), BIN Cards, and related documentation and procedures in coordination with main stores.
  • Ensure adequate record-keeping and manage all documentation to maintain proper stock levels and inventory control.
  • Update stock records periodically.
• Stock Care & Site Supervision:
  • Ensure proper stocking of materials using appropriate methods of care and preservation to prevent damage and loss.
  • Provide general supervision on site regarding material wastage and improper use.
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including inspecting, returning, reconciling, and managing warranties or repairs for materials and tools.
• Coordination: Resolve issues arising from receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs, and surplus supplies.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Gender: Male
• Education: Fully or partially qualified in a relevant field.
• Experience:
  • Mandatory: Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar field with a proven background in the construction industry.
  • Advantageous: Exposure to overseas projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Essential computer literacy.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) will be a distinct advantage.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Age Limit: Below 35 years.
