1990 Suwa Seriya is a toll-free, island-wide emergency medical ambulance service in Sri Lanka. It is fully funded by the Government of Sri Lanka and deploys over 300 digitally monitored ambulances manned by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).

“1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation” is Sri Lanka’s pioneering Emergency and Pre-Hospital Care Ambulance Service operating under the Ministry of Health & Mass Medla.
“1990 Suwa Seriya Foundation” operates in Life Saving mission with 322 Ambulances, Island wide.
The Board of Management invites applications from suitable, qualified and dynamic individuals for the position of Emergency Medical Technician, Pilot & Emergency Medical Dispatcher for the organization, which provides Emergencу and pre-hospital care Ambulance service dedicated to saving lives, Island wide.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Male & Female
Eligibility Criteria
- Age below 35 years
- G.C.E. Advance Level (A/L) with three (03) passes in any stream, preferably In Blo Sclence stream or NVQ Level 4 in a health-related field
- A minimum of an “S” pass in English in G.C.E. Ordinary Level (0/L)
- Basic IT knowledge and proficiency in any additional language will be considered an added advantage
- Previous experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will be an added advantage
- Minimum height: Male -5 feet 4 inches, Female -5 feet 2 Inches
- Body Mass Index (BMI): between 18.5 and 27
