Lyceum International School is one of the leading and largest international schools in Sri Lanka. The first school was established on 14th June 1993 by renowned educationists Dr. Mohan Lal Greru and Mrs. Kumari Greru on Raymond Road, Nugegoda with seven students. The main objective of the school is to provide quality English medium education at an affordable cost while preserving Sri Lankan cultural identity and values.
At present, in addition to the main school in Nugegoda, it has branches and Leaf Schools in several major cities of the island including Wattala, Panadura, Gampaha, Ratnapura, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura and Nuwara Eliya. The total number of students is over 27,800 and a teaching staff of over 3,300. Schools teach the local curriculum (National Stream) as well as the international curricula of Cambridge and Edexcel.
