Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Post of Grade III Engineer Assistant Service in the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation – 2026
Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria for the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Post of Grade III Engineer Assistant Service in the Department of Irrigation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation. This examination will be conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations in the Colombo District in October 2026. The Director General of Irrigation has the power to postpone or cancel this examination.
The online application process will open on 22nd June 2026 at 9.00 a.m. and will close on 20th July 2026 at 9.00 p.m.
Officers currently serving in the State and Provincial Public Service should submit a copy of the application to the Head of the Institution for inclusion in their personal file, and should submit a copy of the application certified by the Head of the Institution and a letter of confirmation of service when called for the interview.
