Vacancies (Contract Basis)
Applications are hereby invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who possess the qualifications for the following posts in the Information Technology Resources Development Authority-Western Province.
- Software Developer
- ICT Officer
- IT Assistant
Eligibility and Requirements
Every candidate should:
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age. However, the maximum age limit will not apply to
internal applicants. - Have the mental and physical fitness to perform the duties entrusted to the post properly.
- Be a permanent permanent resident of the Western Province at least 3 years as at the closing date of the application.
- Be of excellent moral character.
Method of Application
- Applications should be sent by registered post, along with copies of relevant certificates, to reach the Information Technology Resources Development Authority before 06.06.2026. The post applied for should be written on the top left corner of the envelope containing the application. Applications submitted without copies of relevant educational/professional qualifications will be rejected without notice.
- Applicants already serving in Government Departments, Statutory Boards, or State Corporations should submit their applications through the respective Heads of Institutions. The Head of Institution should certify that the applicant will be released from service within a month if selected.
- Applicants whose qualifications are not obtained by an institution registered under TVEC should submit a letter issued by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission stating that their qualifications are equivalent to NVQ Level required.
The Information Technology Resources Development Authority reserves the right to reject applications that are submitted without attaching the documents prescribed above and to make the final decision on the selection of qualified applicants without prior notice.
