JOB PROFILE
- Assist the Legal Recovery Unit of the Legal Department in initiating timely recovery action for past-due facilities
- Appear and represent the Bank in courts as and when required.
- Prepare Board Papers under the Recovery of Loans by
- Banks (Special Provisions) Act, No. 04 of 1990, as amended.
- Attend to land registry related matters, including drafting and attesting deeds such as Conditions of Sale, Certificates of Sale, cancellation endorsements, and other related instruments.
- Provide legal opinions and advisory support to the Bank when required.
APPLICANT’S PROFILE
- Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public.
- Preferably a minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in court work and Notarial practice.
- Competency in drafting pleadings, security, and other related legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Sinhala and English.
- Preferably below 30 years of Age.
