ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER – SUSTAINABILITY
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the company’s sustainability strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead efforts to reduce environmental impact, including resource efficiency and carbon footprint reduction.
- Champion and guide sustainability initiatives and projects, ensuring their successful execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed sustainability into operations, supply chain, and product innovation.
- Oversee sustainability reporting, performance metrics, and stakeholder communication.
- Build relationships with external partners, regulators, and industry groups to promote sustainability goals.
- Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/ Business Management/ Environmental Studies.
- Experience (typically 2 years) in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Good research and communication skills, while supported by strong follow through capabilities.
- Display originality in thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness and positive attitude.
