Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Work Assistant on Contract Basis in this University from 2025.10.24 to 2025.11.07.

WORKS AIDE (Contract Basis)

Eligibility:

G.C.E. (O.L.) Examination with minimum two (02) credit passes in six (06) subjects in a maximum of two sittings.

Other:

Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Should be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post well and to serve in any part of the island.
Should be a person of good character.

Salary: Rs. 60,575/- (with allowances)

Recruitment: Through a professional test and/or structured interview.

Age: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Contract Period: The appointment will be initially for a contract period of 05 months and the contract period of this position will be extended based on performance.

Note:

Applicants will be required to pay an amount equivalent to 10% of their earnings to the University Provident Fund, and the University will credit an amount equivalent to 15% of the said earnings to the University Provident Fund and an amount equivalent to 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund.
