Nursing Assistant at Kotelawala Defence University Hospital Job Vacancies 2026

Vacancies

Qualifications:

1. Pass the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects in no more than two sittings.
   AND
2. Should have completed the Nursing Assistant Course (NVQ Level – 03 or 04) Conducted by the National Apprentices and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA).
   OR
3. Should have completed a Nursing Assistant Course conducted by a registered Institution with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
   OR
4. Should have completed a Nursing Assistant Course conducted by a Nursing Training Institutions which are registered under the Sri Lanka Private Medical Regulatory Council.
   AND
5. Minimum of six (06) months of working experience in healthcare sector.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Pass the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in Mathematics, Science and English Language with credit passes.
2. Experience in patient care and laboratory services in the healthcare sector is considered a special qualification.
3. Knowledge in IT and Computer Literacy.
