The Kitul Development Board (KDB) is a Sri Lankan government agency established to regulate, develop and promote the country’s traditional Kitul (fishtail palm) industry. It aims to transform this cottage industry into a major plantation crop, protect traditional milkers, prevent product contamination and increase international export earnings.
