ASSOCIATE / DEPUTY MANAGER – REGIONAL MOTOR CLAIMS

JOB FUNCTIONS
The role is responsible for overseeing Motor Claims operations within the assigned region to ensure timely settlements, efficient claims processing, and quality customer service across branches. The incumbent will manage end-to-end claims activities, monitor claims performance, leakage, loss ratios, and fraud risks, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position also involves handling escalated claims, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, driving process improvements, preparing management reports, and guiding branch-level claims staff to enhance operational effectiveness and service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Should have passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in motor insurance claims in a general insurance company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Tamil and Sinhala.
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance field will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of motor insurance principles, claims procedures, and customer service practices is an added advantage.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
