The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) invites applications from qualified and experienced citizens of Sri Lanka who have served mainly in Government Sector with following requirements to be considered for the post of Driver on contract basis.
POST OF DRIVER (ON CONTRACT)
The Job/Responsibilities:
- Operate CBSL vehicles in a safe, responsible, and professional manner at all times, ensuring strict adherence to national traffic regulations, road safety standards, and CBSL’s internal transport policies.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, monitor fuel levels, coordinate timely servicing, and maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, roadworthy, and presentable condition.
- Provide reliable and punctual transportation services for CBSL staff, senior management, official guests, and authorized errands, always ensuring professional and courteous experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and trip records, and promptly report any road incidents, vehicle defects, or maintenance requirements to the relevant supervisor or fleet administrator.
- Uphold CBSL’s organizational policies, security protocols, and confidentiality standards at all times, particularly when transporting senior officials or handling sensitive materials.
- Support operational efficiency by assisting with minor administrative or logistical tasks as directed by supervisors, contributing to the smooth functioning of the transport unit.
