1. Training Officer (Plantation Engineer) – JLM 1.1 (Grade II)
Job Description
- Conducting lectures on the subject, assisting Training Specialists in performing the duties assigned to the Training Specialists, designing training courses and related manuals under the guidance of Training Specialists, planning, coordinating and conducting training programs suitable for the industry, preparing study impact assessments and training program courses, evaluation reports, financial returns and other relevant statistics, and submitting them to Training Specialists/Management.
Qualifications
For External Applicants (1 or 2 or 3 below)
- Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture (Agricultural Engineering Special), Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Crop Technology (Agricultural Engineering Special) or another degree in the relevant subject field recognized by the University Grants Commission;
- A certificate of not less than National Vocational Qualification Level 6 in the relevant subject field from a Technical Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and after obtaining such qualifications, at least five (05) years of work experience in the relevant subject field in a Corporation or a Statutory Body;
- Having obtained a certificate of not less than National Vocational Qualification Level 5 in the relevant subject area from a Technical Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission and having at least ten (10) years of work experience in the relevant subject area in a Corporation/Board or a recognized statutory body after obtaining that qualification.
