CHIEF ENGINEER
Key responsibilities among others relevant to Chief Engineer are as follows
- Preparation of Designs, Tender Documents including BOQ, Specifications, Conditions of Contracts and Cost Estimation for projects undertaken by the Bank.
- Tender Evaluation and Recommendation.
- Taking measurement of completed works and recommend for payments.
- Attending to following tasks in major/ medium constructions and renovation projects undertaken by the Bank.
- Checking procurement documents/ Engineer’s estimates prepared by Project Consultants
- Checking bid Evaluation Reports.
- Attending for bid evaluation committees (BEC) and procurement committees (PC).
- Monitoring Construction Progress of ongoing projects.
- Checking Progress Bills of Contractors and Project Consultants and recommending for payments.
- Coordination with project Consultants, Contractors, Local Authorities to achieve project targets.
- Preparation of memorandums for necessary approvals for major/ medium construction projects undertaken by the Bank.
- Any other official Duties and responsibilities entrusted by the Bank which is within the capability and / or expertise of the employee to perform.
- Adhere to rules and regulations imposed by the Bank from time to time.
