VACANCY NOTICE
Storekeeper (On Assignment Basis)
The Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Storekeeper on an assignment basis for a period of three (03) months.
Position: Storekeeper
Duration: Three (03) months (Assignment Basis)
Work Location: Construction Equipment Training Centre (CETRAC), Akuregoda Road, Pelawatta, Battaramulla
Working hours: 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. on week days.
Remuneration:
A consolidated monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000/- (all-inclusive) will be paid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage stores inventory efficiently
- Issue and receive materials in accordance with procedures
- Maintain proper records and documentation of stock
- Conduct periodic stock verification
- Ensure proper storage and safeguarding of materials
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) Examination
- Experience in storekeeping or inventory management will be an added advantage
- Basic computer literacy
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good integrity and reliability
