Applications are invited from Sri Lankan applicants who meet the following qualifications for the vacant posts of Management Assistant – Non-Technical – Division 2 Service Category Exercise Assistant in the Department of Sports Development.
This recruitment is for the post of Management Assistant – Non-Technical – Division 2 Service Category Exercise Assistant in the Department of Sports Development. The last date for calling applications is 2026.03.27.
Conditions of Service:
- A candidate selected for appointment to the post of Exercise Assistant shall be appointed subject to the general conditions governing appointments in the Public Service, the terms and conditions laid down in the Recruitment Scheme approved by the Public Service Commission on 21.02.2014, the amendments made or to be made hereafter to the said Scheme, the conditions set out in the Rules of Procedure of the Public Service Commission published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2310/29 of the Public Service Commission and the provisions of the Establishments Code and the Financial Regulations.
- This post is permanent. Pensionable. Although this post is pensionable, officers recruited in future shall be subject to the policy decisions taken by the Government regarding the pension scheme. Furthermore, you shall be required to contribute to the Widows and Orphans Pension Scheme. You shall pay contributions for the same as prescribed by the Government.
- This appointment is subject to a probationary period of three years. The first efficiency test as prescribed in the recruitment procedure shall be passed within 03 years of recruitment to the Management Assistant – Non-Technical – Division 2 Service Category (MN 01) in Grade III of the Gymnasium Assistant.
- The Director General of Sports Development shall have the power to cancel the appointments of candidates who fail to assume the duties of the post offered to him on the due date.
