Recruitment for the vacant posts of Wayamba Janakala Foundation
Recruitment on contract basis for the post of Sales Assistant belonging to the Management Assistant (Non-Technical) service category.
Number of vacancies – 05 (Male Sales Assistant – 04, Female Sales Assistant – 01)
Educational qualifications
- Passed 06 subjects including English subject at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) examination with credit passes in four subjects including Sinhala, Tamil, Mathematics at one sitting.
- Passed all subjects at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) examination (excluding the common test) at one sitting.
Other specific qualifications relevant to the post.
- At least a six-month computer course.
- A course on marketing.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen not less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age.
- Ability to work in any sales center belonging to the Wayamba Janakala Foundation.
- Good physical and mental fitness.
- Must be a permanent resident of the Wayamba Province for the past 03 years.
The contract period is 01 year, and the Wayamba Janakala Foundation will consider extending the contract period based on the annual service performance of the institution.
Monthly allowance related to the post.
As per Management Services Circular No. 1/2025, the starting salary for the Management Assistant (Non-Technical) service category MA 1-2 is Rs.43,312.00 + Cost of Living Allowance Rs.17,800.00 Rs.61,112
