Intern – Business Operations (Heavy Machinery Department)
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Recently completed or final-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing or Procurement will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, and tender/procurement operations.
- Basic knowledge of social media management, with familiarity in platforms such as Facebook.
- Ability to understand and support tender documentation and related administrative processes.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and perform in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Business
Development, and Marketing teams
Other Requirements
- Preferably based in Colombo or willing to travel occasionally for work-related assignments.
- Ability to handle assigned responsibilities under supervision initially and gradually work independently.
