Executive – Quality Assurance
ROLE
To oversee Manufacturing and Packaging Quality Assurance operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct raw material, packaging material, and finished product testing (chemical & microbiological analysis).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, and other quality management systems.
- Investigate quality deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and generate reports for audits and decision making.
- Support ERP systems (SAP/S4 HANA) for quality data management (experience preferred).
- Ensure shift-based QA operations (including night shifts) run smoothly.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with strong Chemistry background.
- 1+ year in QA/QC (food/beverage industry preferred).
- Hands-on experience in lab techniques, chemical/microbiological testing.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACСР.
- ERP (SAP/S4 HANA) knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English & Sinhala (written and spoken).
- Willing to work shifts (including nights).
- Male candidates preferred due to shift requirements.
