Senior Manager-Project Finance
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement project finance strategies and support business development efforts.
- Assist in refining project lending policies.
- Conduct project feasibility and financial appraisals with financial modeling and risk analysis.
- Coordinate with sponsors on funding arrangements and fund management.
- Monitor project implementation and support recovery actions for stressed projects.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct training as needed.
- Report to senior management and perform assigned duties.
Candidate Qualifications
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
Required Academic & Professional Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Agriculture /Accounting & Finance offered by a University/institution recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
And - Masters of Business Administration or M.Sc. in Project Management offered by a University/institution recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
And - Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) or Associate Chartered
Accountant (ACA)
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 05 years of experience in Banking and out of which minimum 03 years’ experience in the credit related area specially in relationship management in project financing or commercial/corporate Banking.
Technical Skills expected
- Financial Analysis and modeling

- Project evaluation and due diligence
- Financial structuring and deal arrangement
- Project monitoring and post-sanction management
- Regulatory and accounting knowledge

METHOD OF SELECTION
- Shortlisted applicants based on the stipulated qualifications and experience will be called for an interview. The appointment will be made on contract basis.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- The position of Senior Manager – Project Finance is equivalent to the grade of Senior Manager in main-banking stream in the Bank.
The performance will be evaluated annually.
REMUNERATION
An attractive and negotiable remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered to the selected candidates for the above position.
