Applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens who have fulfilled the qualifications mentioned in this notification to fill 12 vacancies in the Office of the Public Service Commission in the Grade III posts.

Nature of the post and duty structure:

1. This post is a primary, non-technical post.
2. This appointment is permanent. Pensionable (Subject to a future policy decision by the government regarding the pension scheme.)
3. You should contribute to the Widow/Widower and Orphan Pension Scheme. You should pay contributions for it as prescribed by the government.
4. You should be subject to a probationary period of 03 years from the date of acceptance of the appointment. You should pass the efficiency bar examinations as prescribed in the service regulations.
5. You should be on duty from 8.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m. on every working day. Furthermore, you should be obliged to perform duties outside the working hours on any day according to the duties related to this post.
6. Proficiency in the other official language as prescribed in the provisions of Public Administration Circular No. 18/2020 dated 16.10.2020 shall be obtained.
7. The Public Service Commission shall be subject to the Rules of Procedure, the Institutions Code of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Government Finance Regulations, other Government Regulations, Circular Instructions and amendments issued thereto from time to time.
