Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principal Service – 2025
In accordance with the Sri Lanka Principal Service Constitution published in the Government Gazette Extraordinary No. 1885/31 dated 22.10.2014 and its amendments No. 2004/59 dated 2017.02.02, No. 2076/14 dated 2018.06.19, No. 2079/39 dated 2018.07.11, No. 2208/18 dated 2020.12.30, No. 2255/55 dated 2021.11.26 and No. 2454/54 dated 2025.09.18, the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principal Service It is hereby notified that the examination will be held in March 2026.
Applications are being accepted in accordance with this notice for the limited competitive examination to be held for the recruitment to the Grade III vacancies of the Sri Lanka Principal Service in the government schools in the following districts. All relevant qualifications must be completed by 2025.12.19.
Submission of applications:
- The application form has been published on the website of the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka www.doenets.lk under “Our Services” under “Online Applications Recruitment Exams / E.B. Exams” and applications can be submitted online only. The acceptance of online applications will close on 17th November 2025 at 9.00 a.m. and will end on 19th December 2025 at 9.00 p.m. After submitting the application online, the application should be downloaded and the relevant parts of the printed copy should be filled in by hand, the applicant’s signature should be certified and sent by registered post to the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka on or before the closing date for applications, along with the certificate of the Head of the relevant institution.
- A copy of the application should be handed over to the Head of the institution for inclusion in his personal file, and a copy of the application certified by the Head of the institution and a letter of confirmation of service should be submitted when called for interview.
- The applicant should bear any adverse consequences arising from delay in submitting the application until the closing date.
