Recruitment to Vacant Posts
(Consultation Contracts Project for the Inter-turn Running Buses)

Applications will be received from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the recruitment to the undermentioned posts existing vacant in the Consultation Contracts Project for the Inter- turn Running Buses in the Kandy City, implemented under the Central Provincial Transport Services Authority on World Bank Funds.

01. Project Officer – 01 Post

• Service Category and Salary: Rs. PS 6 – Monthly (Minimum 50,000/= Maximum 61,000/=) and approved allowances.
  (Salary points and specified allowances relevant to the Third Segment in the Salary Code PS6 in the Management Services Circular of the Ministry of Finance, No. 1/2019).

Age: Should be not above 45 years.

Qualifications: For external applicants :

• Passed G.C.E. (O/Level) Examination in one sitting in 06 subjects with 04 credit passes including Maths, Sinhala / Tamil, English Languages
  and
  Passed G.C.E. (A/Level) Examination in 03 subjects (except the common paper) with 08 years service experience,
  or
• Obtained a Competency Certificate not below the Level NVQ 5 in the relevant field from a Vocational Technical Institution approved by a Tertiary and Vocational Training Institute, with 05 years experience in the relevant field.

02. Technical Officer – 02 Posts

• Service Category and Salary: PS6 Monthly (Minimum 50,000/= Maximum – 61,000/=) and approved allowances.
  (Salary points and specified allowances relevant to the Third Segment in the Salary Code PS6 in the Management Services Circular of the Ministry of Finance, No. 1/2019).

Age : Should be not above 45 years.

Qualifications :

• Obtained a Competency Certificate not below the Level NVQ 5 in the relevant field from a Vocational Technical Institution approved by a Tertiary and Vocational Training Institute with minimum 03 years experience in concurrent usage of technology relevant to the transport digitalization.

03. Internal Audit Officer – 01 Post

Service Category and Salary: PS 6 Monthly (Minimum 50,000/= Maximum 61,000/=) and approved allowances.
(Salary points and specified allowances, relevant to the Third Segment in the Salary Code PS6 in the Management Services Circular No. 1/2019 of the Ministry of Finance).

Age : Should be not above 45 years.

Qualifications :

• Passed G.C.E. (O/Level) Examination in one sitting in 06 subjects with 04 Credit passes including Maths, Sinhala / Tamil Languages, English Language.
  and
  Passed G.C.E. (A/Level) Examination in 03 subjects (except the common paper) and 03 years service experience in the Auditing field (Computer related).
  or
• Obtained a Competency Certificate not below the Level NVQ-5 from a Vocational Technical Institute approved by a Tertiary and Vocational Training Institute with 5 years service experience in the Auditing field (Computer related).

Other facts relevant to all above posts :

• Should be a Sri Lankan citizen.
• These posts will be limited only to the duration of the Project. The Project period will be for 15 months and recruitments will be done on contract basis.
• Contributions to the Employees Provident Fund and the Employees’ Trust Fund will be entitled.
• Should be mentally and physically fit so as to discharge entrusted duties perfectly and to serve in the Kandy District.
• Should be prepared to work during night time whenever such needs are warranted. * Preference would be given for those residing close to Kandy City.

Method of Recruitment :

Will be recruited on the results of a structured interview.
