University Colleges has been established under the provisions provided in the University of Vocational Technology Act No.31 of 2008, with the objectives of offering a Higher National Diploma (NVQ Level 06).
Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to serve the University College of Ratmalana in the following Posts.
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Electrical Technology (01 Post)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Telecommunication Technology (01 Post)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Television Program Production Technology
(01 Post) - Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Fashion Design Technology (01 Post)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Event Management (01 Post)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Cosmetology (01 Post)
- Senior Lecturer Grade II/Lecturer (Probationary) in Career Development (01 Post)

Nature of Appointment
These Posts are permanent. Those recruited to the above Posts become members of the Employee’s Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund.

- Applicants should send their duly filled in application form, indicating the name of the post applied for on the top left corner of the envelope, by registered post to the Assistant Registrar, University College of Ratmalana, No. 01A, Station Road, Ratmalana, on or before 01st October 2025.
- Only applications sent on the prescribed form will be accepted. Applications received after the closing date and incomplete applications, and applications not submitted in the prescribed format of the University College of Ratmalana will be rejected without intimation.
- The appointments will be given for University College of Ratmalana. Transfers are not allowed.
